Are you passionate about humanitarian work and managing teams in a company on a human scale? Then join the Fondation Follereau Luxembourg (FFL) as General Coordinator (m/f/x). We are looking for a motivated individual to coordinate the activities of our head office team, while working closely with the Board of Directors.
About Fondation Follereau Luxembourg
For over 50 years, true to its values of solidarity, inclusion and respect for human rights, the FFL has been working to promote primary health care and education for all in rural Africa. We favour a collaborative and sustainable approach, based on solid partnerships and rigorous management.
Your tasks
- Coordination of internal activities: supervising and supporting the various departments (communication, projects, finance) to ensure that strategic objectives are achieved.
- Institutional representation: representing the FFL on national bodies in liaison with institutional and association partners. Management and monitoring of framework agreements and co-financing from public funds.
- External representation: Promoting the Fondation Follereau’s activities to the general public.
- Administrative support and relations with the Board of Directors: preparing meetings, drafting reports and liaising between the head office team and the Board of Directors.
- Financial and strategic monitoring: overseeing budget management, donations and resources.
Your profile
- Leadership: ability to unite a team around a common goal.
- Excellent organisational skills: ability to structure processes and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Experience in development cooperation: expertise in managing cooperation projects, particularly in Africa, is an asset.
- Communication skills: ability to interact with a variety of audiences and maintain institutional relations. Skills in the country’s common languages are an asset.
- Knowledge of the Luxembourgish landscape: in-depth understanding of civil society players and local requirements.
