The Fondation Follereau Luxembourg ensures the responsible and transparent allocation of funds, particularly to confirm that your donations deliver essential aid.
All partners are required to submit quarterly as well as annual activity and financial reports, and expenses must be supported by receipts. They also submit to an annual external audit. All projects and their budgets require votes and approval of the Board of Governance, based on the proposal received from the partner organisations and the foundation’s executive team. The foundation’s affiliation with the Luxembourg initiative “Don en confiance” (Giving with Confidence) confirms this commitment to the transparent use of funds.
Tax deduction
Have you made a donation to the foundation? First of all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Did you know that all donations are tax-deductible? You will receive a donation certificate that can be used as proof for your tax return.
“To be deductible as special expenses, the total annual donations must be equal to or greater than €120. However, the annual deduction for donations cannot exceed 20% (10% until 2008) of the total net income, nor €1,000,000 (€500,000 until 2008).
