Jedes Jahr werden mehr als 200.000 neue F\u00e4lle entdeckt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zum Vergleich, die Zahl der seit der Entdeckung des Virus 1976 diagnostizierten Ebola-F\u00e4lle, betr\u00e4gt 31 099. Um jede heilbare Krankheit zu \u00fcberwinden, ist es von ganz besonderer Wichtigkeit, die weniger mediatisierten Krankheiten nicht zu vergessen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lepra bleibt ein aktuelles Thema. Leider.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Auch wenn der Impfstoff, derzeit in der Testphase, noch nicht genutzt werden kann, gibt es eine erfolgreiche medikament\u00f6se Behandlung. Jede Person, die von Lepra betroffen ist, kann behandelt und geheilt werden.<br \/>\nEine fr\u00fchzeitige Diagnose ist ausschlaggebend um schwerwiegende Behinderungen zu begrenzen. Sensibilisierungs- und Informationssitzungen tragen dazu bei durch aktive Pr\u00e4vention die Zahl neuer F\u00e4lle zu verringern und die gesellschaftliche Marginalisierung durch Aufkl\u00e4rung zu begrenzen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Die Fondation Follereau setzt sich weiterhin gegen Lepra ein und dehnt ihren Aktivit\u00e4tsbereich auf mehrere vernachl\u00e4ssigte Tropenkrankheiten aus, welche alle das Problem teilen, nur wenig mediatisiert zu werden und deswegen wenig Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zu ziehen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lepra ist eine der \u00e4ltesten Krankheiten der Menschheit und besteht in den \u00e4rmsten Regionen der Welt. Im Jahr 2017 sollte Lepra nicht mehr existieren. 50 \u20ac unterst\u00fctzen die Behandlung einer Person mit Lepra.
