Die Fondation Follereau Luxembourg w\u00fcnscht Ihnen ein frohes neues Jahr und insbesondere beste Gesundheit!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gesundheit wird oft als eine Frage des Zufalls gesehen und das macht uns bescheiden gegen\u00fcber unserem Schicksal. Wir alle kennen Menschen, die stets gesund sind und allen gesundheitlichen Belastungen widerstehen, und andere, die immer wieder negative Diagnosen bekommen.<\/p>\n

Hierzulande folgen einer Hiobsbotschaft schnell ausf\u00fchrliche Gespr\u00e4che mit behandelnden \u00c4rzten, mit verordneten Behandlungen oder ein Krankhausaufenthalt. Ausserdem gibt es die M\u00f6glichkeit einer zweiten Diagnose oder einer qualitativen Hilfe w\u00e4hrend der Genesungszeit.<\/p>\n

In den Einsatzgebieten der Stiftung ist Gesundheit ebenso eine Frage des Zufalls und das Leben dort genauso empfindlich und kostbar. Hier kommt in der Zeit nach der Diagnose eine gewisse Ohnmacht \u201eWas jetzt tun?\u201c dazu, weil es keinen Arzt in der Region oder Krankenbetten nur in der Hauptstadt gibt.<\/p>\n

Stellen Sie sich f\u00fcr einen Moment den Ort vor, den kein Krankenwagen jemals erreichen kann, wo kein Arzt vorbeikommt, wo die Apotheke leer ist und die n\u00e4chste Ersthilfe f\u00fcr einen Patienten Stunden entfernt ist. Das ist der Ort, an dem der kleinste Kratzer, ein Durchfall beim Baby, eine schwierige Geburt, ein Malariaanfall eines geschw\u00e4chten Kindes schnell in einer Trag\u00f6die enden wird.<\/p>\n

Sie haben soeben in Ihrer Vorstellung den Ort ausgemacht, den die Fondation Follereau Luxembourg f\u00fcr den Bau einer Gesundheitseinrichtung ausgew\u00e4hlt hat. Unsere Projekte bringen die Gesundheitsversorgung in entlegene l\u00e4ndliche Regionen. Dank Ihrer Unterst\u00fctzung geben unsere Gesundheitszentren, von denen 10 neue f\u00fcr 2020 geplant sind, dieser Bev\u00f6lkerung die Chance auf eine angemessene Behandlung sowie eine echte M\u00f6glichkeit der Genesung.<\/p>\n

Was ist mit Lepra und Buruli-Ulkus?<\/p>\n

In unserem historischen Kampf gegen Lepra und Buruli-Ulkus sind wir in 3 L\u00e4ndern aktiv und es ist der Fachbereich, in dem wir unsere gr\u00f6\u00dften Erfolge erzielt haben. Bis heute konnte die Stiftung mehr als 600\u2019000 Leprapatienten helfen. Wir unterst\u00fctzen ausserdem zwei spezialisierte Krankenh\u00e4user, die auf Bek\u00e4mpfung von Buruli-Ulkus spezialisiert sind. Dieser Einsatz, in dem die Stiftung seit mehr als 50 Jahren engagiert ist, konnte dank umfangreicher Fr\u00fcherkennungsma\u00dfnahmen und sozialer Wiedereingliederungsprogramme f\u00fcr geheilte Patienten die Krankheit eind\u00e4mmen.<\/p>\n

Ende Januar findet der Welt-Lepra-Tag statt. Wie jedes Jahr ist es ein Anlass, die Aufmerksamkeit der ganzen Welt auf vergessene Lepra- und Buruli-Ulkus erkrankte Menschen ohne richtige Zukunft zu richten.\u00a0 Lasst uns denen neue Hoffnung schenken, die wegen dieser Krankheit in Not sind, indem wir ihnen einen Tag das Mitgef\u00fchl und die Hilfsbereitschaft bezeugen.<\/p>\n
